I, Joseph Cronise, resident of Frederick City, Frederick County, and State of 
Maryland, do make and publish this to be my last Will and Testament in manner 
and form following, that is to say --

After the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses, I give devise and 
bequeath all my estate, real personal and mixed, as follows.  --

I give, devise and bequeath unto my daughter, Lillie R. Cronise, the house and 
lot on the South side of West Third Street, in Frederick City, Frederick County, 
Maryland, where I now reside, together with all the household and kitchen 
furniture therein, and all other property in or about said house and lot, 
including my horse, buggy, carriage, etc.

I also give and devise unto my daughter, Lillie R. Cronise my house and lot 
situated in Klineharts Alley, in Frederick City, Frederick County, Maryland, on 
that West side, between Sixth and Seventh Streets.

I give and devise unto unto my two daughters, Lillie R. Cronise and Nettie E. 
Zimmerman, wife of Albert Zimmerman as tenants in common, my home farm 
containing two hundred acres of land, more or less, situated in Frederick 
District, Frederick County, Maryland, and as I value said real estate at sixty 
dollars per acre, or a total of twelve thousand dollars, I direct that each of 
my said daughters shall be chargeable with the sum of six thousand dollars, in 
the distribution of my property by my Executors hereinafter named.

eI give and bequeath unto my daughter Lillie R. Cronise, my weekly deposits in 
the Frederick Town Savings Institution, the same to be chargeable to her by my 
Executors hereinafter named at the current market price at which said weekly 
deposits will be selling at the time when distribution of my estate will be 
made.

I give and bequeat unto my daughter Nettie E. Zimmerman wife of Albert Zimmerman 
my stock of the Central National Bank at Frederick, Maryland, and I direct that 
the same shall be chargeable to her by my Executors hereinafter named at the 
current market price at which said stock will be selling at the time when 
distribution of my estate will be made.

I direct my Executors hereinafter named to collect all the rest and residue of 
my estate, for which purpose I hereby authorize them to sell and dispose of any 
and all my property not hereinbefore disposed of, and to divide the nett 
proceeds arising from the colleciton of such residum of my estate, subject to 
the charges above referred to in the devises and bequests to my daughters Lillie 
R. Cronise and Nettie E. Zimmerman, and subject to the advancements hereinafter 
referred to as made by me to my children, equally among my children, John Calvin 
Cronise, Charles L. Cronise, Mary Ellen S. Kirkpatrick (wife of John C. 
Kirkpatrick of California), Nettie E. Zimmerman (wife of Albert Zimmerman), and 
Lillie R. Cronise, share and share alike and in the event of any of said 
children dying leaving issue I desire their children to receive the share of my 
estate to which their parent would be entitled.

And whereas I have made certain advancements to some of my children, and expect 
to make further advancements to them prior to my death, I direct my Executors 
hereinafter named to charge each of my children in the final distribution of my 
estate with the advancements made to them from time to time prior to my decease, 
but not with interest thereon, the amount of such advancements I have kept a 
record of, which record, together with my other advancements I may make to my 
children prior to my death, will be found in a memorandum book deposited in my 
tin box in the Frederick Town Savings Institution in the same place where this 
my last Will and Testament will be found at my death.

I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my two sons, John Calvin Cronise and 
Charles L. Cronise, to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament, 
hereby revoking all other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made, and as I 
have entire confidence in my said Executors I desire that they shall be excused 
from the necessity of giving bond for the faithful performance of their duties 
as said Executors.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 
twenty-eighth day of July, in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-four.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named testator Joseph 
Cronise as and for his last will and testament, in our presence, who at his 
request, in his presence, and in the presence of each other have hereunto set 
our hands as witnesses thereto.
