E. O. BRUNER'S DEATH COMES SUDDENLY

Former Commissioner of Agriculture, Who Was Carnival Visitor, Dies in Room 
Here.

E. O. Bruner, one of the best known men in Louisiana, died suddenly at 1:30 
o'clock Thursday morning in the home of R. Miles Brooks, 723 Howard avenue.

Mr. Bruner arrived in the city Sunday, having come from his home in Crowley, 
Acadia parish, for the Carnival. He came alone. He spent the early part of 
the evening away from the house, and when he returned he seemed in his usual 
good health and spirits.

Mr. Bruner was a man of much prominence in politics. He formerly was a 
member of the State Legislature, and he served four years as State 
Commissioner of Agriculture. - Time Picayune.
