Partition Sale No. 8386, Sheriff’s sale.  Fernest Ledoux vs. Amelia Ledoux 
through her curator Ernest Fontenot.

Seized property will be sold at public auction on Saturday, November 23, 1929

  A certain tract or parcel of land situated in Acadia parish known as the 
Old Home Place of Paul Ledoux and wife both deceased, containing 146 arpents, 
in Section 39, township 7 South, Range 1 East and bounded north by J.P. Ledoux, 
South by Ernest Ledoux and Sam McManus, East by J.P. Ledoux and west by 
Sidney Meyers.

   Land containing 5 arpents bounded north by Caroline Ledoux, South by 
Charles Dischler, East by land belonging to estate of Paul Ledoux and wife, 
both deceased.

  Land containing 32 ½  arpents bounded East an West by land belonging to the 
estate of Paul Ledoux and wife, both deceased. North by Don Louis Roy being 
part of the same tract being the division line starting from the north 
corner of Paul Ledoux to north corner of Paul Ledoux, forming a triangle, 
and being the same land Paul Ledoux acquired from Caroline Ledoux, wife 
of Irvelle Marcantel on December 11, 1803, as per Act No. 8238 of the 
Conveyance Records of Acadia Parish, Louisana.
