DEATH OF ULYSSE DAIGLE
The Church Point Democrat March 14, 1908

At his residence on Plaquemine street, Ulysse Daigle, Thursday night. 
Mr. Daigle had for a long time been suffering with cancer, and for the past 
three weeks was confined to bed, and was slowly but surely called into the 
unknowable beyond.  He was formerly a farmer living a few miles west of town 
and has for the past two years, been a resident of Church Point. Mr. Daigle 
leaves a wife and a number of children to mourn his loss. The remains were 
entered to the Catholic cemetery here.
