Slaves and personal estate wherof JOHN SCOTT Dec’d Died seized of as follows...
we met on the premises of JOHN SCOTT Dec’d upon the 29 Oct 1829 and proceeded
to survey the land apart of which is hereby submited and the figures 1245 and 6
represent the widows third of the Land including the mansion House wich is one
third of the whole Tract .

JOHN SCOTT Dec’d possessed the following slaves

PEGGY worth $78.00
CATY worth $250.00
NED worth $350.00

MADLONIA worth $125.00
NELLY worth $125.00
WINNY and ZADOC worth ---- (it looks like dashes - perhaps an elderly couple
assigned no amount?)

We give MRS. SCOTT the widow SOLOMON and RACHAEL valued at $650 and she agrees
to keep WINNY and ZACK the personal Estate was not divide Saving that for
further Division as our thought the widow could purchase such things as she
wanted and the administrator could pay to her one third of the money arising
from the sale fo the personal estate after payment of the Debts against said
estate of JOHN SCOTT Deduced the remains one hundred and twenty of Land to the
children of JOHN SCOTT and six negroes we think th children should contribute
something to support the Jacob ? named WINEY given from under our hands this
