Spencer Co. KY Deed Book B
In obedience to an order of the November Term of the Spencer County Court appointing us GEORGE 
COLLINGS, JAMES TICHENOR and ROBERT L. SLAUGHTER & ACHILLES EASLEY Commissioners to allot 
and Divide the Slaves and land belonging to the estate of EDWARD STONE Dec'd amongst his heirs and 
legal representatives we met on the premises 13 Dec 1831 being firs Sworn and having Surveyed the land 
aforesaid Made the Division as follows to wit:

Lott #1 was drawn by ELIJAH TUCKER and is bounded as follows: Beginning at a Stone on a line of the 
Dower lott and running thence south.. to a stake on HOUGH'S line thence with HOUGH' line south 
.. to a beech tree on JAMES TICHENOR'S line ... containing 36 acres 1/4 and 23 poles of land.

Lott #2 was drawn by MATILDA STONE and bounded as follows:  Beginning at  a Stone corner to lott #1 
and Running thence south.... to the Dower lott thence with a line of the Dower... containing 51 acres 34 
poles of land.

Lott #3 was drawn by JANE STONE as her part of the land and is bounded as follows: Beginning at  a 
stone S.W. corner to the Dower line running thence north... to A. BEARD's line thence with BEARD & 
HOUGH's line south... to a corner to MARKWELL...containing 44 acres 3 /4 poles of land.

The Division of the slaves belonging to the Estate of EDWARD STONE was made in the following manner 
to wit:

Negro woman NANCE ANN  valued at $275.00
Negro Boy named SAM valued at $180.00
Negro girl and boy both valued $250.00

Negro boy named SAM was drawn by ELIJAH TUCKER who intermarried with SALLY STONE as part of 
the Salves value at $180
Negro woman named ANN was drawn by JANE STONE as her part value at $275
ARA a girl and HENRY a boy was drawn by MATILDA STONE as her part of the slaves value at #250
Mrs. PITTENGER is to pay ELIJAH TUCKER $31.66 3/4 it being one above her part of the Dower estate in 
the Slaves of EDWARD STONE Dec'd.
JANE STONE is to pay ELIJAH TUCKER #29.44 2/3 it being over one above her part of the slaves .
MATILDA STONE is to pay ELIJAH TUCKER $444 2/3 it being over and above her part of the slaves of 
her father EDW. STONE Dec'd
All of which is respectfully Submit to Court.  Given under our hand this 14 Dec 1831 Spencer Co. KY Court.
