Livingston Co KY WB-B, pgs 108, 109;  written 15 May 1845, proved 6 Oct
1845

I George Robertson of the County of Livingston and State of Kentucky do
hereby make my last will in the following manner and form that is to
Say first I desire that all of the perishable part of my estate be
immediately sold after my death and out of the moneys arrising
therefrom all my just debts and funeral expences be paid.  I also after
the payment of my debts and funeral expences I give and bequeath to my
Wife Elender Five hundred Dollars during her natural life to be placed
in the hands of my Executors herein after named and to be appropriated
to her in the following manner. Say fifty dollars at my death and fifty
Dollars annually during her life and if any of Said money should be
left at her death to be equally divided between my five Sons, herein
after named. also I give her one bed and bedding and all the household
furniture that I ______ have.  Thirdly I give to my daughter Margaret
Reed Four hundred Dollars if she should be then living but if not then
to be equally divided between her children that may then be living.
Fourthly, my daughter Susannah Martin deceased I give to each of her
children that may be living at my death sxity Dollars. Fifthly, I give
to my daughter Elizabeth Hossick Three hundred Dollars. Sixthly, I give
to my daughter Matilda Morris Five hundred Dollars to be placed in the
hands of my Executors and appropriated in the following manner, that is
for them to pay her fifty dollars annually and to pay Lawful interest
on the unappropriated part and if she should die before all the money
is paid then the ballance to be equally divided between the children
then living, Seventhly, I give to my son Thomas B Robertson my black
man John a Slave for life in that family and no other and all the
Ballance of my extate consisting of money and money notes houses land
town lots and so forth to be equally divided Between my five sons
namely Walter Stephen William George W and Thomas B Robertson to them
their heirs Executors Adminestrators and assign forever. And lastly I
do hereby constitute and appoint my sons William Robertson and Thomas B
Robertson Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do not
wish the court to require any Security of them hereby  knowing all
other or former wills or Testaments by me heretofore made the money is
left in their hands for the support of of Elliner my wife I will they
should pay he lawful interest on the unappropriated part.  In Testimony
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal 15th of May
1845. Signed Sealed Published and declared as and for the last Will and
Testament of the above named George Robertson in the presence of us.

I James S Dallam Clerk of the Court for the County and State aforsaid
do hereby certify that the forgoing last will and testament of George
Robertson deceased was on this day produced in open court and proved by
the oath of E P Ross a subscribing witness who proved also that B J
Ross the other subscribing witness was sick and unable to get to court
whereupon J S Dallam was sworn and proved that he was well acquainted
with the hand writing of decedunt and that he verrily believe the will
to be altogether in decedunt writing which was approved and ordered to
be recorded.
  Whereupon I have truly recorded the same and this certificate in my
said office.  Given under my and this 6th day of Oct 1845.
