Know all men by these presents that I George CLOUS Junior of the County of 
Hardin and state of Kentucky have received of my Father George CLOUS a 
Conveyance of two hundred seventeen and a half acres of Land lying and being in 
the County of Hardin on the south fork of Knoll Linn Creek it being the tract 
on which my father now lives and also a bill of sail of one still and of part 
of his horses, cattle, oxed etc.  I am not to dispose of any part of said tract 
of Land or other property which my father conveyed to me during the life time 
of my said Father with out his consent.

I further agree to have Grist Mill (which is now begun on the affore said Land) 
Compleatly finnished which I am to deliver into the possession of my Father 
during his ife time.  I am also to build a Compleat Comfortable dwelling House 
for my Father and Mother during their life time which said dwelling house is to 
be build adjacent to the afforesaid Mill.  If the profets arising from the said 
Mill shall prove deficient in maintaining my Father and Mother then I am to 
furnish them with such necesarys as they shall Judge themselves to stand in 
need of and if my said Mother Elizabeth should out live my said Father George 
then I am to furnish her with every necesary that May be adjudged Requesite for 
her mainainence where she shall chuse to have it my Father and Mother are not 
to be deprived of orchard, Guarden and p____ etc. de___ their lives to the true 
performance of which I bind myself and my Heirs  in the penal sum of one 
Thousand pounds Currant money of Virginia which is to be Recoverable at Law the 
same as any other debt in case of failing to perform the above obligation 
otherwise to be void in witness where of I have here unto set my hand and 
affixed my seal this twenty Eight day of October One thousand seven hundred and 
Ninety four.

obligation was acknowledged and ordered to be recorded.
