Bullitt County KY Will Book C p. 310
I  William JONES Senr. of the County of Bullitt and state of Kentucky make 
this my last Will and testament in the manner following that is to say:

1st I give to my wife Nancy JONES all my estate real and personal during her 
life with the exceptions hereafter named

2nd I give to my grand Daughter Lucy BROWN the farm on which I now live being 
the same purchased of Richard BAUGHN but to remain in possession of my wife 
during her life time, also one grey horse named Golly, and one bay mare now 
five years old, also two pair gears, two ploughs, and my iron tooth harrow, a 
red pided Cow and a yellow cow and a heifer, white face and black, also four 
sheep, four hogs, one chest, one cupboard, and one small trunk, two beds and 
bed clothes, two Kettles, one pot, one oven, one stew Kettle and one copper 
tea Kettle, one table (walnut) and all my cupboard ware of every description, 
six winsor chairs, two axes, one hoe, and one grubbing hoe, but none of the 
above named property to come unto her possession until after the decease of 
my wife.

3rd Any other property that I may die possessed of, or may be belonging to me 
at my death, of each and every description, I give to my wife to dispose of 
as she may think but I appoint my Nancy JONES Executrix of this my last Will 
and testament.  I further request the court to appoint her without requiring 
security.  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 
eighth day April 1842.

p. 325  18 Sep 1843   On the motion of Nancy JONES Executrix of Wm. JONES 
dec'd ordered that John B. SUMMERS, Jacob YENOWINE, John HOLTZCLAW and John 
L. WHITLEDGE or any three be sworn to appraise the estate of William JONES 
dec'd.  Inventory returned 13 October 1843 and signed by Nancy (X) JONES.

WILL OF P.K. JONES               COX'S CREEK, KY
                                  MAY 18, 1932

I, Proctor Knotter JONES, being of sound mine make this my last will and testament 
influenced by no one but myself.  I bequeth and quest all of property (real estate and 
personal) to my wife Minnie S. JONES to do as she pleases to with it as long as she 
remains my widow in case she wants to sell or trade she must consult Kirby JONES and 
Henry JONES and all three must agree or no trade.

County of Bullitt

I, F. T Harned, Clerk of the Bullitt County Court in the State aforesaid, do hereby 
certify that the foregoing last will and testament of P.K. JONES, deceased was on the 
13th day of June, 1932, produced in open court and on the oaths of Minnie JONES and 
Henry JONES proved to have been written entirely in the handwriting of said testator. 
 The signature of P.K. JONES was proved to be the genuine signature of said testator. 
 Full capacity of mind of said testator at time of making said will, the same being 
fully proved according to law was admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded as 
the last will and testament of Proctor Knotter JONES, which with this certificate I 
have truly recorded in my office this 21st day of September, 1932.
