Bullitt County Will Book A p. 283

In obedience to an order of the Honorable County Court of Bullitt made at September Term 1818 to us 
directed being hereto duly sworn We have proceeded to divide and alot to Catharine DRAKE, late wife 
and Widow of Joseph HOUGH dec'd her division in the slaves of which s'd HOUGH died Seized and 
possessed of and have allotted to the said Catharine the following slaves To Wit:
Denis, Rody and Deby which division and allotment equals the amount due s'd Widow as her legal dower 
of s'd slaves. One hundred dollars.  Which s'd Catharine is to pay to Christopher HOUGH the law full 
heir  of the s'd Joseph HOUGH dec'd leaving for the said Christopher the following slaves ToWit Jane, 
Bob, Ann, Sally.  Given under our hands and seals this 18th September 1818.
