In the name of God Amen, I Sarah BECKWITH of Bullitt Co., State of Kentucky, 
being of perfect sense, mind and memory and knowing that it is appointed for 
all to die do make this my last will and Testament.  In the first place I 
command my Soul to God who gave it in hope and trust of a Glorious Resurrection 
and my body to be buried in a Christianlike manner.

As to my property, real and personal, I make the following distribution amongst 
my relations.

1st I will and bequeath to my several nephews and nieces towit:  John B. 
SUMMERS, George W. SUMMERS, Susan W. SAUNDERS, Rufus K. SUMMERS, (Basil B. 
SUMMERS has received one hundred and fifty dollars which is to be deducted from 
his interest), Sarah E. BEALMORE, Ben F. SUMMERS, Martha T. WILSON 4th eldest, 
Patsey Ann SUMMERS, Mary V. SUMMERS, children of my Sister Melinda SUMMERS and 
Minerva E. BARTLETT, Mary Ann BECKWITH and Fred’k BECKWITH, children of my 
brother, John W. BECKWITH.

All my estate Real and personal to be divided equally between them and to them 
and their heirs forever except ten dollars which I will bequeath to my nephew 
William T. YEATHAM to purchase a ring of remembrance. I further wish to have 
fixed in said ring some of my hair together with some of his mother’s.

3rd it is my will and desire that my Negro man ANDREW shall be purchased by 
Someone of the family of my Sister Volindah SUMMERS living in this state.

4th the notes I have on hand on Matthew WILSON I will and bequeath to Mary 
WILSON and Sarah WILSON, children of my niece Martha WILSON.

5th I further wish my Executors to will, deed and convey Said property.

Lastly I appoint Matthew WILSON and John B. SUMMERS Executors to this my last 
Will and Testament revoking all others by me heretofore made.  Witness my hand 
this day of December AD 1834.
