Bullitt County Will Book A p. 437
7th November 1817 As God hath appointed a time for all Flesh to die amen - I being in my 
proper senses and wishing to Dispose of what I have attained to Since my husband John BROWN 
deceased I hereby Give and bequeath unto my two Sons namely Thomas BROWN and Nicholas BROWN 
Two Negroes Namely Robert and Moriah together with all the money that I have in my sons 
Thomas BROWN hands to be equally divided agreeable to Valuation between them. I Give unto my 
Grand daughter Mary BROWN my Saddle, Trunk of cloths and to my little Grand Son James BROWN 
my bed & furniture the same to be executed by Thos. BROWN and Nicholas BROWN.  In witness 
thereof I here set my hand and seal day and date above mentioned.
