Georgia Walton County

This Indenture made and entered into this Twenty ninth day of October 
One thousand eight hundred and forty five between William L. Anderson 
of the one part and James Walker both of the County and State aforesaid 
of the other part. Witnesseth that the Said William L. Anderson in 
consideration of four hundred dollars to him paid, the receipt whereof 
is hereby acknowledged hath granted sold & conveyed by these presents a 
tract or parcel of land lying in the 1st District of said County and 
being a part of lot No (82) eighty Two, containing one hundred and 
fifty acres more or less and Situate on both sides of the Road leading 
from the Social Circle to Monroe, and now adjoining lands owned by Dr. 
Gibbs and Ramsey on the South Side by Thomas Gibbs on the East by 
Sluder and Ship on the North and by Beards lot on the West side 
(excepting three acres in the North East Corner of said Lot of Land to 
which a deed has been executed by me to William P, Sluder). To have and 
to hold Said Lot of Land unto the Said James Walker, his heirs and 
assigns together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging for his 
own use and benefit forever in fee Simple. And the Said William L. 
Anderson will warrant and defend the title against the claim of all 
persons whatsoever unto the Said James Walker and his Legal 
representatives.

In Witness whereof the Said William L. Anderson hath hereunto Set his 
hand and affixed his Seal the day & year above written.
