Reynolds, Ga., May 11th
Death has again invaded our little city, J.D., son of Mr. and Mrs. J.D.
Jarrell, died Saturday morning at 5 o’clock. He had been a patient sufferer 4
weeks and all that was possible to be done by loving hands and skilled
physicians was done to arrest the disease and restore to health, but without
avail. He was a bright child and filled the hearts of his parents with bright
hope and pleasant anticipations. But alas, how soon there can be blighted and
withered by the stern messenger of death. His remains were carried to Antioch,
followed by the broken hearted family and sympathising friends, and laid to
rest in the family cemetery there. The sad service conducted by Rev. J.J.
Farmer.
