Mrs. Stratford Dies; Funeral Set Wednesday

  Mrs. W. J. Stratford, 75, died Sunday, December 23, 1973, in Nursecare.
  A native of Mitchell County, she has lived in Albany for the last 22 years. 
She was the former Miss Lucile Black and a member of the First Southern Baptist 
Church.
  Survivors include two sons,  Joseph  E. Stratford,   Portland, Me., W. 
Richard Stratford, Albany; three daughters, Mrs. James E. Smith, Albany, Mrs. 
Clinton l. DesRosier, Carmichael, Calif., and Mrs. Russell D. Smith, Bremen; 
two sisters, Mrs. Shep Bass, Ft. Myers, Fla, and Mrs. Charles A. Hill, Sr., 
Albany; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  The funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Oakview Cemetery 
in Camilla by the Rev. Reginald R. Gunn and Rev. Thomas E. Barrett. The family 
requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Boys Club or a 
favorite charity.
  The family is at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. Richard Stratford, 1201 
Valley Road.
  Kimball-Stern Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
