Obituary of Oliver Lee "Mac" McDaniel 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated 18 Nov 1994.  

Albany, Georgia.  
Oliver Lee McDaniel, 70, of Leesburg, did Thursday at 
his residence. The funeral will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, 20 Nov at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral 
Directors Chapel with burial in Floral Memory Gardens.  The Rev Bobby Moye will 
officiate.  Anative and lifelong resident of Albany, Mr. McDaniel attended schools in 
Albany.  He was a Navy veteran of World War II.  He was a member of Sunnyside Baptis 
Church, AARP and the Golden Key Club.  He was retired from Beatrice. Survivors 
include his wife Louise McDaniel of Leesburg, two daughters, Gail Luckey of Columbia, 
S. C. and Sylvia Edwards of Valdosta; and four grandchildren.  Memorials may be made 
to the Albany Community Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
