Obituary of Charles Barfield Luckey 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated 4 Dec 1991.  


Albany, Georgia.  The Funeral Services of Charles Barfield Luckey, 78, of 
822 Rosedale Avenue, who died Sunday, 1 Dec 1991 will be conducted at 11:00 AM 
Wednesday 4 Dec 1991 at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors Chapel with interment at 
Floral Memory Gardens.  A native of Mitchell County, Mr. Luckey had resided in 
Albany since 1958.  He was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church, the Good 
Fellowship Sunday School Class and the Happy Hearts.  Survivors include his wife, 
Jewell Johnson Luckey of Albany, a son, Charles of Alpharetta, a daughter, Judy Luckey 
of Lawrenceville; two stepsons, Philip Thomas of Macon and Danny Thomas of Plains; a 
stepdaughter, Ruth Knegtel of Birmingham, Ala; and three step-grandchildren.
