Obituary of Zelda Lou Hudson Pitts 
as written in "The Albany Herald" dated 2 Feb 1983.  

Albany, Georgia.  
The funeral service of Mrs. Zelda Pitts, 65, of 415 Forest Glen 
Road, who died Monday, 31 Jan 1983, will be conducted Wednesday at 4:00 PM at 
Kimbrell-Stern Chapel with internment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.  A native of 
Crisp County, Mrs. Pitts resided in Albany for 62 years.  She was a member of Byne 
Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Cecil B. Pitts of Albany, four 
sons, Robert Lee Pitts, John Rodney Pitts, Arthur Ray Pitts and Richard Victor Pitts all of 
Albany; a brother, Emmett Hudson of Albany, two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Vining of Atlanta 
and Mrs. O. C. Minix of Albany; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
