"Mrs. Yeoman Dies; Leesburg Rites Tomorrow"

Leesburg - Mrs. S. J. Yeoman Sr., 69, well known Leesburg resident, died
Suddenly last night in the Phoebe putney Hospital, Albany, of a heart
attack suffered earlier at her home. Mrs. Yeoman was a lifelong resident
Leesburg and was the former Carrie Gay Bunkley, daughter of the late
Mary Lipsey Bunkley and W. R. Bunkley of Leesburg.
She was a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church and very active in church
and Sunday School functions.
Survivors include her husband, S. J. Yeoman, Sr. of Leesburg, two daughters,
Mrs. Edward Forrester of Leesburg and Mrs. Edward J. Smith of Waycross; three
sons, S. J. Yeoman Jr. of Anniston, Ala., Goode Yeoman of Leesburg and  William
R. Yeoman of Albany; two sisters, Mrs Willis Rutland of Albany, and Mrs John
D. Harrell of Eastman; seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 4 p.m. in the Leesburg Baptist Church.
the Rev. G. Aston Smith and the Rev. R. H. Forrester will conduct the services.
Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery. Nephews of Mrs. Yeoman will serve
as pallbearers.
The body will lie in state at the churc rom 3 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Kimbrell-Stern of the Albany Undertaking Company are in charge of arrangements.
