Date of Death: January 23, 2006  

Peggy Walker 67, of Leesburg died Monday at her residence following an illness. 
The funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors 
with the interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Raymond Smith will 
officiate. Mrs. Walker was born in Clanton AL but had lived in Leesburg for the 
past 30 years. She was a homemaker that greatly loved her family, cooking for 
them and caring for her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist 
Church of Leesburg and was a Sunday school teacher. 

Survivors include: her husband of 48 years, George A. Walker Jr. of Leesburg; 
son Norman Walker and his wife Laura of Sylvester; 2 grandchildren: Mallori and 
Emily Walker of Sylvester and a brother, Hubert Williams of Cordele. The family 
will receive friends 5 to 7 PM, Wednesday (Today) at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral 
Directors.
