Rony Michael “Mike” Walker, 61 of 491 Flintside Dr., Cobb GA died Friday, 
December10, 2004 at his home on Lake Blackshear. A memorial service will be 
held at 11 AM Monday, December 13, 2004 at Kimbrell-Stern with visitation to 
follow. The Rev. Bobby Harrell with officiate. 

Born in Baltimore, MD, Mike grew up in Fitzgerald, and had live in Shellman and 
Albany before moving to Lake Blackshear in 1995. He graduated from Fitzgerald 
High School in 1960 and from South Georgia College in Douglas with a degree in 
Accounting. He worked for 41 years in industrial supply sales, working with Jim 
Horne Mill Supplies, Young and Vann and Turner Supply Company. He was an avid 
fisherman and had been a member of the Albany Bass Club and the Flint Skeet and 
Trap Club and had served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his 
parents John Henry Walker and Lucille Mitchell Walker Vann. Survivors include 
his wife, Vicky Pollak Walker, three daughters, Wendy W. Hester and Tracy of 
Parrott, GA, Lori W. Hughes and her husband Jesse of Lexington, NC, Dana W. 
Leverett and her husband Tatum of Lee County, six grandchildren, PFC Justin 
Smith, Jennifer Hester, Madison Walker, Allison Hughes, Kelsi Leverett, Sophie 
Leverett, four brothers, Wayne Walker of Marietta, Phil Walker of Fitzgerald, 
Eddie Walker of Monroe, GA, Jack Walker of Fitzgerald and several nieces and 
nephews. The family will be at the residence of Tatum and Dana Leverett, 140 
Winchester Dr. Leesburg. Those desiring may make memorials to the Albany 
Community Hospice, P.O. Box 1828, Albany, GA 31702.
