Kimbrell Stern - Obituaries
Date of Birth: September 27, 1927  
Date of Death: July 13, 2007  

Mr. Fred Cullen Smith, 80, of Poulan, GA died Friday July 13, 2007 at Palmyra 
Medical Centers. Funeral service will be held Monday 2:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern 
with interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Sylvester, GA. Rev. David 
Benton officiating. 

A native of Skipperville, AL, Mr. Smith lived in Albany 18 years and resided in 
Poulan the past 15 years. He retired from CSX Railroad after 38 years. He was a 
member of Skipperville Methodist Church in Skipperville, AL and loved to fish 
and hunt. 

Survivors include his wife Ruby Smith of Poulan; 3 sons Freddie Smith and his 
wife (Teresa) of Worth Co; Tim Smith and his wife (Sandy) of Lee County; Greg 
Smith and his wife (Melissa) of Albany; 2 Sisters Evelyn Carroll and husband 
(Bill) and Mrs. Hilda Nieves; 5 Grandchildren Michael Smith, Morgan Smith, 
Taylor Smith, Tanner Smith, and Clint Smith. The family will receive friends 
Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern. Those desiring please make 
donations to the American Lung Association of South GA 2104 W. 3rd Ave., 
Albany, GA 31707.
