W.E. Peters Funeral Here
The funeral for WE Peters was to be held at 4:30 pm today at Morningside 
Methodist Church, the Rev WL Peed, pastor, and the Rev Max Hill officiating.  
Interment was to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with Masonic rites.  Active 
pallbearers were to be Smith Taylor, AL Bolton, Thomas Brunner, Houston Weldon, 
JC Barber, and GW Funderburke; honorary, Albany Lodge No 24 F&AM.
Mr Peters, 88, of 2000 Sylvester Rd, died Tuesday afternoon at his residence.  
He had been a resident of Albany for the last 39 years and was a retired 
groceryman.
Mr Peters was a member of Morningside Methodist Church, Albany Lodge No 24, 
F&AM and William E Wooten Camp No 20 of the Spanish-American War Veterans.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs Arthur H Bradley of 
Albany; five sons, Lewis H Peters of Woodstock, Mar William G Peters, US Army, 
Ft Huchuca, ARiz, Bill Peters of Fayetteville, NC, Jack and Herchel Peters, 
both of Blakely, and eight grandchildren.
Kimbrell-Stern Funera Directos are in charge of arrangements.
