Verola Stripling Hall

ALBANY — Verola Stripling Hall, 93, of Albany, died Monday, October 7, 2002, at 
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital following an illness.

Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Story-Odum Cemetery in 
Worth County.

A native of Crisp County, she had lived in Albany since 1945. She was a member 
of East Albany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert 
S. Hall; her parents, Charles Edward and Florrie Taylor Stripling; her sister, 
Charlie Mae James; and her brothers, Wilmer Stripling and Barney Stripling.

Survivors include two sisters, Irene Davis of Perry, and Joan Bass and her 
husband Crawford of Albany; four nieces, Linda Powell of Albany, Carlan Malone 
of Buford, Bonnie Brickey of Marietta, Iris Tedders of Perry; five nephews, 
Bruce Bass, Glenn Bass, Alan Bass, Steve Bass, all of Albany, and Edward 
Striping of Greensboro, GA.

The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. today.
