Obituary  -  C. J. Brown Sr.
  The funeral service of Calvin Julian Brown Sr., of 1405 Gail Ave., who died 
Tuesday, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at Kimbrell-Stern with interment 
in Crown Hill  Cemetery.
  A native of Sylvester, Mr. Brown had resided in Albany since 1970 and was 
retired regional manager of Carmike Theatres.  He was an Army Air Corps veteran 
of World War II and a member of Palmyra Road United Methodist Church.  
  Survivors include his wife, Eileen Pye Brown of Albany, two daughters, Jan 
Dooley of Lawrenceville and Sharon Veasey of Albany;, two sons, Calvin Julius 
Brown Jr. of Huntsville, Ala., and Larry C. Brown of Conyers; two Grace Boyett 
and Nellie Jo Knighton, both of Huntsville, Ala., and four grandchildren.
  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palmyra Road United Methodist 
Church.
