Obituary  -  L. E. Akridge
  The funeral service of Lonzo E. Akridge, 52, of 2613 Pine Valley Road, who 
died Monday, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Kimbrell-Stern with 
interment in Floral Memory Gardens.
  A native of Hartsfield and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Mr. 
Akridge was the owner/operator of Albany Auto Service, a veteran of the Korean 
conflict and had lived in Albany 39 years.
  Survivors include his wife, Barbara Akridge of Albany; a son, Russell Akridge 
of Dawson; two daughters, Cheryl Angela Akridge of Rome and N. Leigh Akridge of 
Albany; a step=son, Danny Avery of Albany; four sisters, Mildred Gay of 
Moultrie, Mable Bass of Meigs, Hazel Hester of Albany and Margaret Akridge of 
Sylvester; three brothers, Harold Akridge and Carrol Akridge, both of Moultrie, 
and Dr. Robert Akridge of Hot Springs, Ark.
  The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8;30 p.m. today at Kimbrell-
Stern .
  Kimbrell-Stern is in charge of arrangements.
