Mrs. Mitchell Dies In City; Rites 
Slated                                                                  

  Mrs. M. M. Mitchell,52, of 412 Roosevelt died this morning in Phoebe Putney 
Hospital following an illness. Mrs. Mitchell had been a resident of Albany for 
the last 30 years, moving here from Lee County. Before her marriage she was the 
former Miss Bessie Lee McDonald of Lee 
County.                                                                

  Besides he husband, M. M. Mitchell, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. N.E. 
Johnson:two sisters, Mrs. C. H. Kendrick and Mrs. J. B. Martin; a brother ,T. 
A. McDonald Sr., and a grandson, Don Braswell, all of Albany. Also surviving 
are several nieces and 
nephews.                                                                        
             

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 P.M. at the First 
Presbyterian Church. Dr. Jack Hand will officiate and interment will follow in 
Riverside Cemetery.  

  The following men will serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet in the 
chapel of the Albany Undertaking Company at 3 p.m. Wednesday; Active, George 
Turner, Jack McCorkle, Lamar Stewart, Bill Davis, Bill Boswick and Roy Weeks; 
honorary, N. R. Couch, Cull Campbell,Sr., Richard Conrad, Sr., Paul Pool, Fred 
Sumter, H. T. McIntosh and Dr. Paul 
Russell.                                                                    
  Kimbrell-Stern of the Albany Undertaking Company will be in charge of the 
arrangements.
