David Thomas Egberts

ALBANY — David "Dave" Thomas Egberts, 48, of Albany, passed away Wednesday, 
October 30, 2002.

His funeral service will be Tuesday noon at St. Teresa's Catholic Church. The 
Rev. Finbarr Stanton will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral service.

A native of Morristown, NJ, Dave grew up in Sarasota, FL, and had lived in 
Albany for the past 20 years. Mr. Egberts received an associate degree in 
forestry and was employed with St. Joe Paper Co. for 15 years. Following that, 
he was self-employed in forestry for five years. Dave enjoyed the peace and 
comfort of the woods, and in the course of his job, he took pride in the beauty 
of nature. He loved hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting and collecting. He was 
devoted to the Florida Gators. He was preceded in death by his father, John 
Robert Egberts.

Dave is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Kelli Ann; his daughter, Haili 
Ann; his son, Thomas David; his loving mother, Frances Meyer and stepfather, Al 
Meyer, of Sarasota, FL; two brothers, John Egberts of Gainesville, FL, and Bill 
Egberts of Lakeland, FL; two sisters, Joanne Barker of Sarasota, and Susan 
Egberts of Corona, CA; nephews and nieces, Johnny, Robbie, Kitty, Ryan, Mya, 
Tyler Jared and Susanna. He is also survived by his best friends, Brad Bush, 
Dan, Kenny and Patrick Fraley, Roy "Buddy" White and Sigi Villalta. We'll miss 
you Bro!

The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern Monday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
