The Albany Herald - Obituaries
Philip C. Culverhouse Sr.

ALBANY — Philip C. Culverhouse Sr. of Acworth, Georgia, formerly of Albany, 
died, December 25, 2002, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 2 PM, at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. 
Russell Anglin will officiate.

A native of Knoxville, Georgia, he was a longtime resident of Albany, and was 
retired Civil Service from the Marine Corps Logistics Base. Mr. Culverhouse was 
a member of Mercedes Baptist Church of Albany and was a veteran of WW II.

Survivors include three sisters, Sue Hogg of Ballground, Georgia, Betty Ennis 
of Royston, Georgia, and Faye Haddaway of Gray, Georgia. He was preceded in 
death by his wife, Nell Harper Culverhouse and son, Philip C. Culverhouse Jr.
