Lucille Cummings Cain, 82 of Albany died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at her 
residence, following an illness. Her funeral service will be, 11 AM (today) 
Friday June, 30, 2006 at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors with interment to 
follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell and Rev. Tony Haefs will 
officiate. 

A native of Baker County, Mrs. Cain lived in Albany and was a homemaker. She 
was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church for more than 43 years having a strong 
faith and love for her savior Jesus Christ. She was small in stature but large 
in character. She was a past Brownie and Girl Scout leader as well as a Cub 
Scout leader. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren and they loved 
her greatly in return. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Docie Sheffield 
Cummmings and a sister Marie Cummings Chandler. Survivors include her husband 
of 57 years Allen Cain of Albany, 2 daughters: Cathy Cain Martin and Celia Cain 
Franklin and her husband Phil, a son Allen Cain and his wife Amy, all of 
Leesburg, 6 grandchildren: Traci Doggett, Clay Doggett, Colby Doggett, Billy 
Martin, Austin Cain, and Ansley Cain; several nieces and nephews. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Albany Community Hospice, 2332 Lake Park
