Kimbrell Stern - 2004
Date of Birth: June 04, 1917  
Date of Death: March 13, 2004  

A native of Worth County, Mrs. Booker had lived in the Albany area all of her 
life. She worked with the State of Georgia Housing Authority as a Project 
Manager until her retirement. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Palmyra Medical 
Center for a number of years and was awarded the Humanitarian Award for her 
work as a Pink Lady. Mrs. Booker was a member of the Lula Johnson Sewing Club 
and the Momocco Club. She was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and the 
Gleaners’ Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by a sister, Clora B. 
Rhodes; two brothers: Wesley Waters and Johnnie Waters; and a grandson, Marc 
Simoneau. 

The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern on Wednesday, from 5 pm till 
7 pm. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 
Kimbrell-Stern with Dr. John Townsend officiating. Entombment will follow in 
Crown Hill Mausoleum.
