Mr. Charles Phillip Bean Sr. 60, of Albany died Friday Feb 2, 2007 at his 
residence. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Monday Feb 5, 2007 at Sherwood 
Baptist Church. Rev Steven Kendrick officiating. 

Interment will follow Tuesday Feb 6, 2007 2:00PM at Westover Memorial Park in 
Augusta, GA. A native of Lagrange, GA, 

Mr. Bean lived in Albany since 1972 where he was a probation officer for 30 
years. He was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church where he was in the Buddy 
Woolard Sunday School Class. He was a former member of Dougherty Lodge #591, 
32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Hasan Temple. He has a long 
membership with the Boy Scouts of America and The Flint River Model Railroad 
Train Club of Albany. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Bishop 
Bean. Survivors include his wife Karen Juanita Hunsinger Bean of Albany; 
Charles Phillip Bean Jr. and his wife (Leigh Ann) of Grovetown, GA; a brother 
James Franklin Bean and his wife (Sydney) Lawrenceville, GA a sister Patricia 
Oleta Ann Bean Carson and her husband (Richard “Dick”) of Bradenton, FL; and 
one Grandchild Ansley Patricia Bean. The family will receive friends Sunday 
from 3:00 to 5:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors. Those desiring please
