Emil Lee Baugh

ALBANY — Emil Lee Baugh, longtime Albany resident, passed away at his home 
Wednesday evening, October 2, 2002. He received a degree in chemical 
engineering from the University of Alabama. He founded Baugh Handling Systems 
and Baugh Packaging and Distribution Consultants in Albany. He was a member of 
First Church of Christ, Scientists Boston, MA.

Mr. Baugh is survived by his wife, Mikel Matheny Baugh of Albany; daughter and 
son-in-law, Hollie and Ken Stump of Albany; daughter, Valerie Rudd Baugh of San 
Francisco, CA; a sister, Marianne Peterson of Albany; two grandsons, Mandt 
Stump and Lafe Stump, both of Albany; a stepson and his wife, Bill and Alethea 
Gaston of Pisgah Forest, NC.

In lieu of flowers, anyone desiring please make memorials to a charity of your 
choice.

The family invites friends to join them in a celebration of life on Tuesday, 
October 8, 2002, from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the home of Hollie and Ken Stump,  
Somerset Drive, Albany, GA.
