Ralph Aubrey Aldredge Jr.


ALBANY — Ralph Aubrey Aldredge Jr. 89 of 1130 Benjamin Ave. died Monday, 
January 9, 2006, at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. 
Tony Haefs officiating.

A native of Fulton County, Mr. Aldredge was a retired Aircraft mechanic and 
test pilot with Ayers Corporation here in Albany. He worked for Bell Bomber 
during World War II building B-25 Bombers. Mr. Aldredge was a member of the 
Flint River Railroad Club here in Albany.

Survivors include 2 daughters; Patricia Aldredge of Jacksonville, FL., Debbie 
Smith and her husband, John of Albany; 2 sons, Ralph A. Aldredge III and his 
wife Carol of Duluth, Michael Aldredge and his wife, Diane of Snellville; 6 
grandchildren, Leslie Pritchett and her husband, Bill of Lilburn, Julie Hyatt 
and her husband, Daniel of Dacula, Michelle Aldredge and her husband, Joseph 
Bills of Hancock, NH, Grace, Hope and Joshua Smith, all of Albany; 2 great 
grandchildren; Jeremiah and Jessie.

The family will receive friends today from 5 PM until 7 PM at Kimbrell-Stern 
and will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, 1130 Benjamin Ave. 
Albany, GA 31707.
