Mrs. Chambless - Albany Herald - passed away 8/5/1991

The funeral service of Evelyn Chambless, 71, of 5408 Fortune St., Worthy Manor, Worth
County, who died Monday will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kimbrell-Stern
Funeral Directors with internment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Cordele, Mrs. Chambless had resided here since 1930 and was a homemaker. 
A charter member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church, she was a member of  the Fireman’s
Wives Auxiliary and Crape Myrtle Chapter 163, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy T. Chambless of Albany, two daughters, Marilyn
Strickland of Albany and Shirley Edge of Douglasville; two sons, Jimmy P. Chambless of
Albany and Bill Chambless of Duncan, OK.; a sister, Betty Stiehm of West Allis, WI.; 13
grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. today at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral
Directors.
