Mrs. Tipton

The funeral service of Mrs. Mildred Carter Tipton, 79, of 1310 Eager Ave., who died
Wednesday will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church by
the Rev. George L. Zorn and the Rev. John L. Vining. Interment will be in Crown Hill
Cemetery.
A native of Cordova, Md. Mrs. Tipton resided in Albany 32 years. Her Husband Alfred Lee
"Tip" Tipton, died in 1978.
Mrs. Tipton was a member of the Philathea Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women 
and the First United Methodist Church. Crape Myrtle Chapter 163 of the Order of the 
Eastern Star. and charter member and past president of Dogwood Garden Club and of the
South Georgia Flower Show Judges Council.
Survivors include two sisters, Miss Isabelle Carter of Wilmington, De., and Mrs. F. P. 
McKim of Pawling, N. Y.; two brothers, L. R. Carter of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bernard
Carter of Wilmington, Del.
