Lonnie E. Taylor, 50, 1010-B Maple Ave. died Wednesday night at Phoebe Putney Memorial
Hospital following a short illness.
Mr. Taylor has been a resident of Albany for the past 40 years. He was born on July 11, 
1913, in Warwick, GA. He was the son of the late Charlie Edward and Martha Stephens
Taylor. At the time of his death he was employed as a cab driver.
Survivors include his two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Justiss of Albany, Mrs. James Moss of
Sunny Vale, Calif., one brother, Joe J. Taylor, US Army stationed in Germany; an aunt
Mrs. Flora Stripling of Albany; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Chuch in Crisp
County. The Rev. D. B. Price, pastor of the East Albany Church of God will conduct
the services. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Justiss 2103 Leonard Ave. Pallbearers
will be announced later by Kimbrell-Stern Funeral directors.
