"Mrs. Wallace Dies; Rites Today"

Mrs. F. C. Wallace, 72, of 911 N. Monroe St., died Saturday afternoon following
a brief illness. Mrs. Wallace had been a resident of Albany fo the last 35 years,
moving here from Cordele. she was born Aug 28, 1885 in Jackson County and before
her marriage to the late F. C. Wallace she was Miss Woodie Hutchins. Mrs. Wallace
was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. H. J. Frost of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs Travis
Glausier, Mrs. Sybil McGhee and Mrs. C. M. Crawford all of Albany, and Mrs. Sam
S. Gay of Portsmouth, Va.; a son, Cecil Wallace of Winder; a sister, Mrs. maie
Marlow of Gainesville; two brothers, George Hutchins and Garland Hutchins both
of Gainesville; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at the Kimbrell-Stern chapel.
Thomas B. Hubbard, former Christian Science chaplain, U. S. Army will conduct
the services. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Paul Lipsey, Jr., J. M. Hammond, T. D. Melton, F. A. Bozeman,
Everett Phelps and George Mann.
Kimbrell-Stern funeral directors are in charge of arrangements.
