Reta Dean Brown

  Reta Dean Brown, 78, of Montrose, Ala., died Thursday at Spring Hill Memorial 
Hospital.
  The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Crown Hill Cemetery, the Rev. Donald 
M. Kea will officiate.
  A native of Athens, Ms. Brown had lived in Albany for 50 years before moving 
to Montrose six months ago.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church 
in Albany and the Charity League.  She was the widow of Clyde M. Dean.
  Survivors include three daughters, Donna Dean Koch on Montrose, Vicky Dean 
McCollum of Albany and Carolyn Dean Pye of Roswell; a brother Bob Evans of 
Athens; and five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
  The family is at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Dodd McCollum, 907 Fifth Ave.  
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or the American Heart 
Association.
  Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
