"Mrs. P. C. Dill Dies in City"

Mrs. Peter Coleman Dill, 90, of 705 Park Place died Tuesday night at the
residence following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Dill had been a resident of
Albany for the last 27 years, moving to Albany from Cordele. She was born
March 17, 1868 in Lincoln County. She was the forme Miss Lucy Virginia
Strother.
Mrs. Dill was a member of the Cordele Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Beulah Newsome and Mrs. Marion Ashley
of Albany, Miss Adel Dill of Eastman and Mrs. E. A. Remley of Jacksonville, Fla.,
two sisters, Mrs. Savannah Bennett of Augusta and Mrs. Sally Ivey of Southern
Pine, N. C.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. George Dill of McRae; three grandchildren 
and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10. a.m. at Kimbrell-Stern Chapel.
Dr. Leonard A. Stephens pastor of the First Baptist Church will conduct the 
services. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Cordele.
Pallbearers will be W. C. Blackston, Bill Rachals, P. Walter Jones, Ed Cocke,
Paul Page and Edward Jones.
Kimbrell-Stern funeral directors are in charge of arrangements.
