        Lillie Muriel Barrett Wilkie, 76, of 2208 Georgia Highway 174
     died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000.
        A native of Banks County, Mrs. Wilkie was a daughter of the late
     William A. and Myrtle Allen Barrett. She was a homemaker and was a
     member of Community Baptist Church.
        Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Little-Ward Funeral Home,
     Commerce, with the Rev. David Strickland officiating. Burial will
     be in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce.
        Survivors include her husband, James E. Wilkie; two sons, Maj.
     William D. Wilkie, Hampton, Va., and Ronald S. Wilkie, Cleveland; a
     sister, Bessie Wheeler, Danielsville; a brother, Charles E.
     Barrett, Stockbridge; and eight grandchildren.
        The family is at the residence.

                                Guy Garrett

        Guy Harlon Garrett, 81, of 1863 Talmadge Drive died Thursday,
     Jan. 27, 2000.
        A native of Stephens County, Mr. Garrett was a son of the late
     Wiley and Cora Hallford Garrett. He was employed by LeTourneau Co.
     and was retired from Wabco after 39 years with the two companies.
     He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served as a
     staff sergeant in the field artillery division in the Pacific and
     European theaters. He was a member of Mount Bethel Church of God.
        Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Acree-Davis Funeral Home
     with the Revs. Don Unsell and Jerry Mize officiating. Burial will
     be in Mount Bethel Church of God cemetery with military honors by
     VFW Toccoa Post 4346.
        Survivors include his wife, Ollie McEntyre Garrett; two sons,
     Jerry Garrett, Panama City, Fla., and Dale Garrett, Toccoa; a
     sister, Rosie Belle Hulsey, Mount Airy; three brothers, Pete
     Garrett and Paul Garrett, both of Toccoa, and Robert Garrett, Mount
     Airy; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and
     nephews.
        Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
        The family is at the residence.

        Margie Rich Brown, 57, of 822 Poca-Friendship Road died
     Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000.
        A native of Madison County, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of Annie
     L. Booth Rich and the late Charles L. Rich, and was the widow of
     Jerry Brown. She was a plant manager at Scientific Atlanta and was
     a member of Providence Baptist Church.
        Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Providence Baptist Church
     with the Revs. Albert Vaughn and Johnny Tucker officiating. The
     body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in
     the church cemetery.
        Survivors, in addition to her mother, include a son and
     daughter-in-law, Scott and Cindy Brown, Danielsville; and a
     grandson, Logan Cash Brown.
        Pallbearers will be Phil Brown, Chris Carver, Nelson Stovall,
     Larry Evans, Jr. McGee, Billy Booth, Tim Hardeman and Jr. Shields.
        Brown Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

        Mason Jones Moorhead, 81, of 2991 Seven Island Road died
     Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000.
        A native of Morgan County, Mr. Moorhead was a son of the late
     Bascom E. Moorhead and Catherine Jones. He was a rural mail
     carrier.
        Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Madison Presbyterian Church
     with the Rev. Chuck Hasty officiating. The body will be placed in
     the church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Bethany Church cemetery.
        Survivors include his wife, Grace Marie Kemp Moorhead; a
     daughter, Constance Ann Shumake, Buckhead; three sons, Earl Clyde
     Moorehead Sr. and John Mason Moorhead, both of Buckhead, and James
     Robert Moorhead Sr., Rutledge; a sister, Sarah Earl Thompson,
     Americus; a brother, Robert Edwards Moorhead, Buckhead; and eight
     grandchildren.

        Lawrence Chastain, 74, of 8605 U.S. Highway 29 N. died Thursday,

        A native of Madison County, Mr. Chastain was a son of the late
     George and Dedie Floyd Chastain. He was an owner of Chastain Meat
     Processing and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He attended
     Evangelical Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Young at
     Heart Senior Group.
        Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Evangelical Methodist Church
     with the Rev. Tim Peek officiating. The body will be placed in the
     church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in New Hope Congregational
     Holiness Church cemetery.
        Survivors include his wife, Eunice E. Fowler Chastain; a
     daughter, Melinda K. Martin, Royston; four sisters, Sue Berryman,
     Lynell Human and Lou Ellen Hart, all of Royston, and Cecile Murray,
     Kannapolis, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
        Pallbearers will be nephews, Ricky Hart, Randy Hart, David
     Chastain, Tommy Cleveland, Edwin Fowler and Jeff Fowler.
