Mrs. Claudie Ellen Hall Singletary passed away late Thursday night enroute to 
Askew Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack late Thursday night. 
Mrs. Singletary was 45 years of age and was the daughter of Allen and Mattie 
Rowan Hall of East Berrien Co. She was a member of the Bethel Holiness Baptist
Church. Funeral services were held Saturday a 3:00 p.m. from the Bethel 
Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Hesters and Rev. W.L. Vining 
officiating. Songs were by Mrs. Terrell Sirmans, Mrs. Buck Swain, Tiny B. 
Stevens, Mrs. Edith Baker and Mrs. Crawford. Burial followed in Poplar Springs
cemetery under the direction of Lovein Funeral Home in Berrien Co. Serving as 
Pall Bearers were, Clyde Benefield, Wayne Hughes, Nelson Hall, Futch 
Yarborough, Marvin Harris, and Eugene Harris. Survivors include her husband 
Amos Singletary, three sons, Bennie Singletary, Elton Singletary, and Donnie 
Singletary,all of Route 3 Nashville; four daughters, Mrs. Elton (Betty) Ring, 
Ocilla,Mrs. Cleon (Shirley) Brown, Atlanta, Mrs. Reuben (Palma Jean) Scruggs  
and Miss Mary Singletary of Nashville, her parents Mr. and Mrs. W.A. (Mattie 
Rowan)Hall of Nashville, and one grandchild, Dwight Ring. Two brothers Lonnie 
Hall and Rossie Hall of Route One, Nashville; six sisters, Mrs. George 
(Maudell Hall) French, Jacksonville Fl.,Mrs. Lonnie (Nola Mae) Abel, Mrs. 
Noami Lusher, Mrs. Robert (Hattie) Bradley and Mrs. Junior(Evelyn)Miller all 
of Nashville.
