 A.W. Napier, Jr., of Enigma died August 6, 2013, at his residence.
 He was born in Lake Wales, FL, on October 18, 1941, to the late Mary Ellen 
Stern and Albert Wilson  Napier, Sr. He was a resident of Tift and Berrien 
Counties for the past 40 years and was retired from Shaw Industries. He was of 
the Baptist faith.
 Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Margaret Napier of Enigma; sons, A.W. 
Napier, III, of Cordele and Wade Napier of Tifton; son and daughter-in-law, 
Aaron and Judy Napier of Lenox; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Buddy 
Giddens of Lenox; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Erie 
Mae Johnson of Adel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 
his brother, Ernest Napier, Sr.; three sisters, Joyce Watson, Willine Sailor, 
and Peggy Benson; half-sister, Jeanette Greer.
 Funeral services were held August 9 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Boone Funeral 
Home with Rev. Dillard Ensley officiating. Special musical selections 
included “Go Rest High on That Mountain,” “Peace in The Valley,” “Amazing 
Grace” and “I Will Rise.”
 Interment was in Fellowship Church Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Cass Boatner, Patrick Stafford, John Langdale, Ernest Napier, 
Jr., Ricky Aque, Ray Aque.
 Honorary pallbearers were James Canty, Kyle Ross, Mike Newmans.
 Boone Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
