        Adell Turner, 95, died Monday, April 2, 2001.
        A native of Greene County, Mrs. Turner was a daughter of the
     late Dave and Polly Fulton. She was a member of Spring Hill Baptist
     Church, Philomath.
        Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Spring Hill Baptist Church
     with the Rev. Michael Gresham officiating. Burial will be in the
     church cemetery.
        Survivors include three sisters, Rebecca Collins, Atlanta,
     Frances Weaver and Addie Turner, both of Union Point; four
     grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
        Watts Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

        Otha L. Jordan, 87, of 105 Flatcher Drive died Thursday, April
     5, 2001.
        A native of Homer, Mr. Jordan was a son of the late James
     Pleasant Jordan and Mary Lou Cheek Jordan. He worked for a filling
     station and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was of the
     Baptist faith.
        Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Park
     with the Rev. Hoyt Johnson officiating.
        Survivors include a son, James Wallace Jordan, Athens; two
     sisters, Burma Sue Smith, Danielsville, and Monti Ray Lu Allen,
     Commerce; two brothers, Allen Jordan, Ila, and Hayde Jordan,
     Orlando, Fla.; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; nieces and
     nephews.
        Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, has charge of arrangements.

        Rudolph Whitfield, 63, of 885 E. Johnson St. died Thursday,
     April 5, 2001.
        A native of Hart County, Mr. Whitfield was a son of the late
     Thomas Carlton Whitfield and Lillie Mae Eaves Whitfield. He was
     retired from Hart-Franklin Training Center as an instructor and was
     a self-employed paint contractor. He was a member of the Sardis
     Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy and the National Guard.
        Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home
     with the Revs. Terry Meeks and Jay Ragsdale officiating. Burial
     will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
        Survivors include his wife, Carol Thomason Whitfield; three
     daughters, Tammy W. Ross, June W. Ankerich and Tina W. Blackmon,
     all of Hartwell; two sons, Robert ''Bob'' Whitfield, Westminster,
     S.C., and Chris Whitfield, Hartwell; a brother, Carey Whitfield,
     Hartwell; and a grandchild raised in the home, Jill Elizabeth
     Whitfield.
        The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 7-9
     p.m. today at the funeral home.

     Funeral Home, Cornelia, with the Revs. Trent Smith and J.L. Elrod
     officiating. Burial will be in the V.F.W. Cemetery.
        Survivors include her husband, D.D. Eller Jr.; four daughters,
     Sandra Hall, Sharon Moore, Charlotte Dodd and Debbie Eller, all of
     Demorest; a son, David Eller III, Clarkesville; two sisters, Geneva
     Gabrels, Tallulah Falls, and Barbara Williams, Lakemont; and six
     grandchildren.
        The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the
     funeral home.

     died Friday, April 6, 2001.
        A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Webb was a daughter of the late
     Marcus R. and Alice Mize Bond. She was preceded in death by a son,
     Delano Vernon Webb. She was a homemaker and was a member of the
     Doves Creek Baptist Church.
        Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hicks Funeral Home with
     Dr. Marshall Tribble and the Revs. D.L. Peevy and Billy Pittman
     officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
        Survivors include her husband, Pope Dalton Webb; four daughters,
     Helen Norman, Virginia Oakley and Hilna Bond, all of Elberton, and
     Betty Blackmon, Washington; a son, Maurice Webb, Cartersville; 15
     grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three
     great-great-grandchildren.
        The family is at 1548 Athens Highway, Elberton, and will receive
     friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

     Baptist Church, Athens Highway, Elberton, Ga. 30635.

        A native of Toccoa, Mrs. Isbell was a daughter of the late
     Thomas Richard Sr. and Martha Phillips Isbell. She was retired as a
     secretary with the LeTourneau-Westinghouse Company and was a member
     of First Baptist Church of Toccoa.
        Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Toccoa City Cemetery
     with the Rev. Dr. Henry Fields officiating.
        Survivors include a sister, Martha Emily White, Hiawassee; 12
     nieces and nephews.
        The family is at their respective residences and will receive
     friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Acree-Davis Funeral Home.
        In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist
     Church of Toccoa or to the Toccoa Chapter of the U.D.C.

                            Edna Mize Blasingame

        Edna Mize Blasingame, 83, of 238 Valley Road died Thursday,
     April 5, 2001.
        A native of Banks County, Mrs. Blasingame was a daughter of the
     late Joseph A. and Ida Wilson Mize. She was a graduate of
     Arnoldsville High School and was employed with Baptist Book Store,
     Atlanta. She was a member of Toccoa First Baptist Church and the
     Truth Seekers Sunday School class. She served in many positions in
     the church including director of the Young People's Training Union,
     director of the Beginner Sunday School Department, teacher of
     Junior Girls Sunday School, director of Vacation Bible School,
     director of Women's Missionary Union, W.M.U. leader, served for
     many years on the Church Grounds Committee and helped in the
     mission of the church in organizing Northside Baptist Church. In
     May of 1993 she was honored by First Baptist Church as Church Woman
     of the Year. She was former president of Big A School PTA and was a
     member of the Toccoa Garden Club.
        Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with
     the Revs. Dr. Henry Fields and Dr. Jim Nelson officiating. Burial
     will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
        Survivors include her husband, Truman Blasingame; a son, Woody
     Blasingame, Toccoa; and a sister, Sallie Mize Rochester, Atlanta.
        Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Truth Seekers Sunday
     School class.
        The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 3-5
     p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Acree-Davis Funeral Home.
        Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Chapel Fund,
     601 E. Tugalo St., Toccoa, Ga. 30577.
