        Willie T. Irvin, 64, of 703 Lexington Ave., died Tuesday, March
     20, 2001.
        A native of Wilkes County, Mr. Irvin was a son of the late Fred
     Irvin and Mary Barnes Cullars, and was the widower of Doris Irvin.
     He was a retired truck driver and a member of Rocky Mount Baptist
     Church.
        Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Rocky Mount Baptist Church
     with the Rev. Roy Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven
     Cemetery.
        Survivors include three sisters, Carolyn Dalton, Columbia, S.C.,
     Kate Christian, Washington, D.C., and Geraldine Burney, Atlanta;
     and three brothers, Fred Irvin Jr., New Jersey, Charles Cullars,
     Washington, and Nelson Cullars Jr., Atlanta.

        Allene Evans Prater, 73, of Old Mize Road, died Saturday, March
     31, 2001.
        A native of Habersham County, Mrs. Prater was a daughter of the
     late Grady and Sally Mae Pruitt Evans, and was the widower of Phil
     Simpson and Lee Prater. She had lived in Toccoa since 1966, was a
     retired employee of Trogdon Furniture Company and was of the
     Baptist faith.
        Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Whitfield Funeral Home,
     South, Baldwin, with the Revs. Luther Williams and Lester Evans
     officiating. Burial will be in Hazel Creek Baptist Church cemetery
     with the Revs. Kevin Hembree and Michael Hembree officiating.
        Survivors include two daughters, Ethelene Moore, Toccoa, and
     Lisa Johnson, Cornelia; a son, Wayne Simpson, Cornelia; four
     sisters, Hazel Holbrooks, Mt. Airy, Dot Hembree, Greenwood, S.C.,
     Martha Ann Stewart, Hodges, S.C., and Peggy Evans, Cornelia; six
     brothers, John Evans, Otto, N.C., Alfred Evans and Tommy Evans,
     both of Hartwell, Hoyt Evans, Callahan, Fla., Jimmy Evans, Mt.
     Airy, and Herman Evans, Simpsonville, S.C.; five grandchildren; and
     three great-grandsons.
        The family is at the residence at 6796 Old Mize Road, Toccoa,
     and will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral
     home.

        John Stanley Teasley, 79, of 1543 Ridge Road, died Saturday,
     March 31, 2001.
        A native of Hart County, Mr. Teasley was a son of the late Veal
     Allen and Ina Greenway Teasley, and was preceded in death by a son,
     Stanley Carlton Teasley. He was a World War II army veteran, was
     owner of Teasley Shell Service and retired Hart County Road
     Commissioner. He was a mason, a member of the American Legion and a
     member of the VFW. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church
     and the Lamplighter Sunday School Class.
        Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Strickland Funeral Home
     with the Revs. Terry Meeks and Ted Kelley and Dr. Dan Vincent
     officiating. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
        Survivors include his wife, Ruby Norris Teasley; three
     daughters, Ruth Spruell, Tucker, Debbie Walters, Grayson, and Angie
     Grant, Hartwell; a son, Frank O. Teasley, Hartwell; a sister, Betty
     Ann Strickland, Hartwell; four brothers, Roy Teasley, Allen Teasley
     and Dean Teasley, all of Hartwell, and Hugh Teasley, Greenwood,
     S.C.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
        Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
        The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 7-9
     p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to

        Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home,
     Winder, with the Revs. William Clark and Joel Shadburn officiating.
     The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be
     in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
        Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Nix, Winder, and Kathy
     Gunter, Watkinsville; two sons, Donald Landers, Winder, and Billy
     Landers, Statham; a sister, Louise Landers, Braselton; a brother,
     Charles Beck, Winder; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and
     three great-great-grandchildren.

        Mildred Ray, 88, died Saturday, March 31, 2001.
        A native of Westminster, S.C., Mrs. Ray was the widow of John
     William Ray. She had lived in Savannah for the past three years and
     was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of
     Holly Springs Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.
        Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Holly Springs Baptist
     Church Cemetery, Bowman.
        Survivors include a son, John W. Ray, Savannah.

        A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Patton was a son of the late
     Joe T. and Ada Tiller Patton, and was the widower of Janie Lou
     Bridges Patton. He was an army veteran and was retired from the
     University of Georgia. He was a member of Glade United Methodist
     Church.
        Services will be at 2 p.m. at Glade United Methodist Church with
     the Revs. Linda Jones and Albert Askew officiating. Burial will be
     in the church cemetery.
        Survivors include four daughters, Margaret Patton Munday, Louise
     Patton Yearwood, and Mary Ann Patton Guest, all of Lexington, and
     Patricia Patton Barrett, Jacksonville, N.C.; a son, Thomas
     ''Tommy'' Patton Jr., Lexington; four sisters, Doris Reagin and
     Jonelle Steele, both of Comer, and Gertrude Patton and Hilda
     Patton, both of Carlton; 10 grandchildren; four
     great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

     Rudy Smith, Lee Tiller and James Cory.

     Davis. She was a retired educator in the Baldwin County School
     System.

     with the Rev. Benjamin G. Rivers officiating. Burial will be in
     East Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
        Survivors include three nieces, Thomasina Williams and Clarissa
     Gibson, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Claretta Cox, Queens, N.Y.; a
     nephew, Thomas Cox Jr., California; grandchildren and
     great-grandchildren.

     with the Revs. Chuck Tatum and B.G. Miller officiating. Burial will
     be in Crawford Cemetery.
        Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Bruce
     Watts, Crawford; a sister, Betty Ann Tatum, Crawford; a brother,
     Charles A. Carter, Athens; two grandchildren, Eddie Watts and
     Gabbie Watts; four half-daughters; three stepdaughters; two
     stepsons; several stepgrandchildren; and several nephews.

        Mary M. Standard, 84, of 822 Oscar Rock Road, Clayton, died
     March 30, 2001.
        Born in Spaulding County, Mrs. Standard was the daughter of the
     late J.H. and Katie Ballard Mann. She had lived in Athens for 41
     years before recently moving to Clayton. She was a homemaker and a
     member of Athens First Christian Church. Mrs. Standard was
     predeceased by her husband, Grover Wilson ''Bill'' Standard; two
     sons, Jimmy and Jerry Standard; grandson, Bryan Standard; six
     sisters, Jackie Mann, Frances Standard, Olean Simonton, Inez
     Rivers, Carrie Mann and Nina Messer.
        Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel
     of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West. Rev. Ray Austin will
     officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
        Pallbearers will be David Tyler, William Miller, John Wilson,
     Will Smithwick, Pat McCasbey and Tal Hutto.
        Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Pat
     Standard of Clayton; brother, Gerald Mann of Royal Palm Beach,
     Fla.; two grandchildren, Amy and her husband Bill Paul, and Kevin
     and his wife Gina Standard, all of Marietta; two
     great-grandchildren, Ethan Standard and Haley Pauls, both of
     Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.
        The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. Monday at the
     funeral home.
