The State of Texas  )   Know all Men by these Presents, That We 
County of Smith     )   Andrew Jackson and his wife Bettie Jackson

of the County of Smith and State of Texas, in consideration of the sum
of Fifteen Dollars to us in hand paid by Jackson Spring Hill Colored
Missionary Baptist Church the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged.
We do by these PRESENTS grant, bargain, sell, release and convey unto
the said Jackson Spring colored Missionary baptist Church the following
described land, situated in Smith County, Texas, to-wit:  One acre of
land of the Don Thomas Quevado Seven Leagues in Smith Co., Texas, about
6 miles S.W. from Tyler,  Beginning at the North East corner of a 100 
acre tract of land bought me (Andrew Jackson of S.E. & C.L. Caspary 
Jany 4th 1899; thence West 70 yards; Thence South 70 yards; Thence
East 70 yards; Thence North 70 yards to beginning, containing one 
acre square out of the N.F. corner of the 100 acre tract bought of 
said S.E. & C.L. Caspary.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described property and premises, together
with all the rights, privileges, appurtenancees, and improvements to 
the same belonging, to the said Jackson Spring Hill Colored Missionary
Baptist church, heirs or assigns, forever.  And hereby bind ourselves?
our heirs and legal representatives, to WARRANT and FOREVER DEFEND all
and singular the title to said property unto the said Jackson Hill
Colored Missionary Baptist Church their assigns, against the lawful
claims of any and all persons whomsoever.

WITNESS our hands at Tyler, Texas, this 27 day of May 1900
