Jack Smith

BIG SPRING - Jack Leonard Smith, 92, died Tuesday, 
May 18, 1999, at his residence.
Service will be at 4 p.m. today in Nalley-Pickle & 
Welch Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park

He was born Oct. 27, 1906, in Bowie County. 
He was a rancher, farmer and had worked as a building 
contractor. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Sue Walker, Jewel 
Stovall and Leola Newton, all of Big Spring, and Helen 
Rowe of Commerce; two brothers, David Smith of Meridian 
and Bill Smith of De Kalb; a sister, Bonnie Reed of De Kalb; 
eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
