  Annette Smith, 53, Friedens RD 1, died Nov. 22, 1988, in Mercy
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Dec. 11, 1934, in Indianapolis, Ind.,
  daughter of the late Henry Alexander and Anna Gertrude (Bloucher)
  Goebel.  Also preceded by daughter, Stephanie; granddaughter,
  Danielle Veres; and two brothers.  Survived by husband, David H.
  Smith; and daughters, Mrs. Rick (Linda) Veres, Stoystown RD 2; Mrs.
  James (Kathleen) Brant, Greenville, S.C.; and Mrs. Timothy (Carla)
  Livingston, Boswell RD 1; 4 grandchildren: Adam and Nicholle Veres,
  and Valerie and Julia Brant.  Sister of Henry A. Goebel Jr. and Mrs.
  Rosemary Hillard, both of Indianapolis, Ind.  Member of St. Paul's
  United Church of Christ.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 2 p.m.
  Saturday, the Rev. Karyl J. Leslie officiating.  Interment,
  Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery.  Family suggests contributions to the
  Mercy Hospital Renal Care Unit, Johnstown.
