SMITH - GROMER

The home of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Gromer, 409 Sixth street, was the scene of a
quiet wedding last evening when their daughter Leona A. M. Gromer, became the
bride of William Joseph Smith, of Youngwood. The ceremony was performed by
the bride's pastor, Alexander Lamberson, of the First Methodist Episcopal
church, and the beautiful ring ceremony was used. The young couple was
witnessed by the bride's immediate family and Mrs. W. A. Mench, an aunt of
the groom. The bride was gowned in white crepe de chine and wore a corsage
bouquet of pink rose buds, while the groom wore the courentional (sic) black.
Mrs. Smith is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gromer and is a beautiful
and accomplished, well-fitted for the new duties she has assumed. The groom
is employed as a machinist in the shops at Youngwood. The young couple will
forego a wedding trip, and this morning leave for Youngwood were they will
immediately take up housekeeping, and will be at home to their host of
friends.
