SMITH - FOUSE WEDDING.

Mr. Harry Smith and Miss Lillie Fouse, eldest daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. D. D. Fouse, both of Huston township, Blair county, were united in
marriage at the home of the bride by Rev. G. R. Poetter, pastor of the
bride on Thursday, December 14, 1899, the beautiful ring ceremony being
used. Promptly at noon the young people entered the parlor to the
strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, played by Miss Clara Smith,
sister of the groom. There were assembled about sixty invited guests.
The bride was tastefully attired in grey and white silk. The groom
wore the convention black. After the ceremony the dinner was served
which was sumptuous indeed. The bride received many handsome, useful
and valuable presents.
She is one of our best and brightest girls. The groom is an
intelligent, up-to-date young farmer and their many friends unite in
wishing them a long, happy and prosperous life.
